Suntech and NexGen AI Capitals sign 50MW module agreement in Malaysia
Suntech announced a 50MW supply agreement for its high-efficiency quarter-cut modules with NexGen AI Capitals Sdn. Bhd., marking another step in the company's Southeast Asia expansion and reinforcing Malaysia's role as a key regional solar market.
According to Suntech's published announcement, the agreement was signed during the China Smart Industry Trade Exhibition in Malaysia, where the company participated alongside its exclusive Malaysia agent. The milestone highlights growing demand for bankable, high-efficiency photovoltaic products as commercial and industrial energy users accelerate clean-power adoption.
The announcement also underscores Suntech's focus on N-type TOPCon technology and advanced quarter-cut module design, which are positioned to deliver lower operating current, reduced hotspot risk, stronger shading tolerance and more stable generation performance in tropical operating conditions.
For the Malaysian market, the agreement signals continued momentum in local solar project development and deeper collaboration between international manufacturers and on-the-ground delivery partners capable of supporting project execution, customer engagement and long-term growth.
